Joel Perry - Guitar

Bobby joined Johnny's band, while Joel was still with Johnny, sometimes playing together on the same date; sometimes not. Check out their work on some of Johnny's later records. Check out their work on the upcoming album or catch a show and you’ll witness two of the best guitar players around.
Everett Boyd - Bass
Everett met Bobby at a recording session in Woodstock, NY almost twenty years ago. Johnny had passed away and Bobby was looking for new a bass player for his band, which at the time included Floyd Phillips on piano - a veteran of Johnny "Clyde" Copeland's band, and David Bennet Cohen on Hammond Organ, a veteran of Country Joe and the Fish. This was when Everett’s true study of the blues began.
Marc Copell - Drums
Marc had already established himself as a New York City musician by the time he and Everett met more than twenty years ago. Marc is a native New Yorker. They became a rhythm section in a jazz trio, playing a steady gig at a cigar bar on Hudson Street in Greenwich Village. When Bobby was looking for a new drummer, Everett thought of Marc, and asked him to audition. That was the beginning of a lasting friendship, spanning more than fifteen years.
Joel, Everett, and Marc recently formed a trio, newly renamed The Administers. When not performing with Bobby Kyle, they perform together as The Administers, playing a mixture of originals, standards, and music beyond definition.
